Welcome to the website of the ABC Federation of Teachers, AFT Local 2317. AFL-CIO.  This website is designed to keep our unit members informed about the issues that affect them and their students.  We will be updating the site on a regular basis--so keep checking back.  We welcome your ideas and suggestion on how best to serve you.

The mission of the ABC Federation of Teachers is to protect and enhance the rights, working conditions, and financial well-being of those it represents, in order to promote a positive environment where teachers can teach and students can learn.

Ballots for delegates to the CFT Convention will be sent out to all sites for distribution on Monday, January 9, 2012.  Ballots are due in the Union office no later than 4 PM on Monday, January 23.  The convention will be held in San Jose, CA on April 13-15.  Click here for more information on the convention.
