ABC Federation of Teachers Strategic Plan
The ABC Federation of Teachers is historically an innovative organization that has developed structured communication systems to enhance organizational capacity, political activism, membership communication, and labor-management engagement. The strength of ABCFT has always been in proportion to the ability of the union leadership to educate and inform its membership about issues that are of importance to its members. The ABC Federation of Teachers works to provide leadership development opportunities for its members as a way to promote teacher voice and activation.
It is the function of this Strategic Plan to provide organizational transparency and a collective focus on how the leadership will continue to grow the capacity of the union through both communication structures and opportunities for members to become more involved in union activities that address the needs of the members.
